SUMMARY:Lincoln Science Cafe: Dr. Bonita Sharif
DESCRIPTION:Dr. Bonita Sharif\, Associate Professor of Computer Science at UNL\, will discuss how novice and expert gaze differs between reading natural language text and source code. Inspired by the linearity that people exhibit while reading natural language text\, her team sought to determine if they can characterize this type of linearity in reading source code. Unlike natural language text\, source code can be executed and requires a specific reading approach. She will present the results of their eye tracking study to show these differences. This program will last approximately 30 minutes. \n  \nRegister here. \nQWVYvb itRIoI
