Behind the Scenes of Boys Town Communication Research: Anechoic Chamber and Audiology Open House

What is the science of how my ear picks up sound and my brain processing the sound? What is it like to be in a room with no-echo? How do I know if my hearing is normal? What are ways to improve my hearing? Visit the Boys Town National Research Hospital Downtown Medical Campus, 555 N. 30th Street, to tour a ‘no-echo anechoic chamber, learn more about the function of the ear and the science of hearing and have your hearing tested in the state-of-the-art mobile Boys Town Hearing RV. Light refreshments will be available.
Please wear closed toe, flat shoes for this tour (no heels, please).
Masks are required to be worn during the interior portions of the tour.
