Introduction to Falconry

A peregrine falcon with striking black and white plumage spreads its wings wide. Its sharp gaze and open wings convey strength and intensity.

Join Devin Jaffe of Mile High Falcons to learn about the ancient sport of Falconry at the Kearney Public Library! Meet some of the birds, learn about training and regulations, and ask questions. Don’t forget to bring your camera, this will be an unforgettable experience!

Please be mindful that movement and noise agitates the raptors. Attending this program requires patrons to sit still for one hour. Because of this, and due to the graphic nature of the sport of Falconry, this program is suggested for ages 12 and older.
